Finix & Autopay FAQ
Where do I see autopay payments / batches?
Payments made through autopay will show in Payment Batches with a Batch Type of "Finix". Clicking into a specific Payment Batch, the Details column will read "Bank Account #XXX [Autopay]" for any autopay transaction.
Why is there a delay between my customers paying and us receiving the payment?
Finix groups payments made into Settlements, which are held in an Accruing state for a period of time. This is is done so there is a discreet set of payments that are included when it is time for a payout.
For ACH payments especially, there is a window left open by Finix as they process the payments. This is to avoid situations where the funds get marked as "deposited" but something happens in the transfer and it doesn't actually get moved.
Once a settlement is approved, it will be deposited within 1 business day.

How are late fees and delinquency policies effected by processing time?
Your customers payments are logged in Current immediately. We will also remove it from delinquency immediately. We assume the payment will be successful even though it hasn't been settled. This also prevent the utility from accidentally adding a late fee for customers who have paid.
Do my customers affect how long payments take to deposit?
No. Your customers have no say in how long the payments will take to process.
