Automatic Charge For Service Orders

To add an automatic charge when service orders are completed.

First, navigate to your Settings> Charges/Credits to add a specific fee. An example would be for a leak investigation.

Make sure to add the transaction type, amount type, and the default amount if it is a flat fee.

When that is completed, navigate back to your Settings> Service Orders

A new service order can be configured here, or you can edit an existing service order to include the charge subtype that will be implemented at the time of completion.

When a service order is completed, an activity note is added to the service order as well as the account.

The fee can be viewed in the account transactions view.
