Creating Serivice Orders Without a Location

The Service Orders page now includes a Create Service Order button, along with the ability to create an order without specifying a location up front.

Creating a Service Order

1. Click Create Service Order.
2. Use the location search bar to find a location.
   • New: This field can now be left blank , a location is no longer required to create an order.
3. Assign the order to a person and add a description (e.g., a general task like "check all the pipes on [Property Name]").
4. Click Save.

The order is saved and appears in the list as usual. If no location was assigned, the Service Address column will show N/A.

Adding a Location Afterward

If an order was created without a location, you can add one later:

1. Open the saved service order.
2. A location field will render for completion , this only appears when no location is already assigned to the order.
3. Assign the location and click Save.
4. Reopening the order will confirm the location has been saved.

Known Limitations

• There is currently no way to edit a location once it has been added.
